Hi Amira is a multilingual AI platform that helps you translate, read and understand text and documents. Depending on your plan, you can use Translator AI, Smart Reader AI, Document AI and Amira Avatar voice playback.


Do I need an account?


Yes. You need an account to use Hi Amira, manage your allowances and access your subscription. The Free plan does not require payment-card details.


Which tools are included in each plan?


Translator AI is available on the Free plan and all paid plans.

Smart Reader AI is available from the Creator plan.

Document AI and Amira Avatar playback are available from the Pro plan.

Your exact allowances are shown on the Pricing page and in your account.


What is the difference between Standard and Premium voices?


Standard voice is designed for everyday text-to-speech playback and currently uses Google text-to-speech technology.

Premium voice provides enhanced voice options where available and uses a separate Premium voice allowance.

Voice availability may vary by language and selected feature.


How do voice minutes work?


Standard and Premium voice minutes are held in separate allowances. Usage is deducted while audio is generated or played.

Included allowances reset at the beginning of each plan cycle and do not roll over unless stated otherwise.

What happens when my Premium voice minutes run out?

Premium playback becomes unavailable when your Premium allowance is exhausted. Where supported, Hi Amira may continue using your remaining Standard voice allowance.

Eligible paid users can also purchase Premium voice add-on packs.


Can I purchase additional Premium voice minutes?


Yes. Premium voice add-on packs are available to users with an active eligible paid plan.

Purchased add-on minutes roll over while the related subscription remains active.


What happens to add-on minutes if I cancel or a payment fails?


Add-on Premium voice minutes are paused when the associated paid subscription becomes inactive, cancelled, expired or unpaid.

They may become available again if an eligible paid subscription is reactivated, subject to the applicable plan and Terms.


How does Smart Reader AI work?


Smart Reader AI helps you work with pasted or typed text by providing actions such as summarising, explaining, simplifying and answering questions.

Smart Reader AI is available on eligible paid plans. Each successful AI request uses one Smart Reader action.

Listening to the result uses your Standard or Premium voice allowance separately and does not use another Smart Reader action.


How does Document AI work?


Document AI allows eligible users to upload a PDF and request a summary, explanation, simplified version or answers to questions about its content.

Document AI is available from the Pro plan. Each successful request uses one Document AI action.

Current upload limits are:

  • Maximum file size: 5MB

  • First 30 pages processed

  • Up to 30,000 extracted characters per action

Listening to a Document AI result uses your voice allowance separately.


Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?


Upgrades normally apply immediately.

Downgrades normally take effect at the end of the current billing period. Your available features and allowances will then change to those included in the new plan.


Will I receive a refund if I downgrade or cancel partway through a billing cycle?


Hi Amira does not normally provide prorated refunds, partial-period credits or refunds for unused allowances.

This does not affect any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. Further information is available in the Terms & Privacy page.


How do I cancel my subscription?


Use the Manage / Cancel Subscription option from your Welcome or account page to open the secure billing portal.

Your paid access will normally continue until the end of the current billing period.


What files can I upload?


Document AI currently supports PDF uploads.

Translator AI and Smart Reader AI allow you to paste or type text directly. File limits and supported formats may be updated as the service develops.


What languages are supported?


Hi Amira currently supports 16 languages across its main public tools.

Language and voice availability may vary depending on the tool, selected voice and plan. The latest supported options are shown inside the relevant Hi Amira feature.


Are AI-generated answers always accurate?


No. AI-generated translations, summaries, explanations and answers can contain errors, omissions or misunderstandings.

Review important information carefully and seek qualified professional advice before relying on Hi Amira for legal, medical, financial or other significant decisions.


Is my text or document private?

Hi Amira processes submitted text and documents only as needed to provide the requested service, operate accounts, maintain security and meet legal obligations.

Information may be processed by trusted service providers that support hosting, artificial intelligence, voice generation, payments and analytics.
